I am teaching "Policy Process" (PADP 4650), an undergraduate course, at UGA in Fall 2020. I will teach the same course and a graduate level course in environmental and climate change policy in Spring 2020. Components of my courses include introducing principles of research methods, applying theory to real world policy issues, analyzing data, and engaging in thoughtful, civil discussion.
My teaching assistance experience includes courses in comparative politics, environmental policy, and research methods. I co-designed the first climate-related politics course (Climate Change and Politics) at UC Davis with Matthew Shugart, offered as both an upper division and honors course. I have trained over a dozen undergraduate researchers in data collection and data inference, and co-led computational programming workshops for graduate students at UCD from 2018-2020.
